The SLS Audio Codec Snap On board provides a digital audio interface to development boards having standard SantaCruz expansion headers. It includes multiple stereo line input and output with in-built head phone amplifier. It supports 8 DAC channel and 6 ADC channel. Its main application areas include audio and voice processing, speech recognition including microphone array beam forming, and vibration analysis.

Features

High performance stereo codec (TLV320AIC23 and LM4550).
TLV320AIC23 supports I2S or McBSP protocol for input and output data.
LM4550 is AC'97 compliant for input and output data.
24.576 MHz on board oscillator.
26 General purpose user I/Os
Four input jacks, two MIC jacks and two Line In jacks
Four output jacks, two headphones and two Line Out jacks
Two headers(4 x1) for AUX_In & CD_In
SantaCruz headers (Female)
Variable sampling rate: 8 KHz to 96 KHz
